Body Language Technique
5 Steps to Emotional Processing for First Responders
This course teaches first responders a simple, repeatable method to process stress and emotional overload after tough calls. Developed by firefighter David Daigle, the Body Language Technique helps you recognize what your body is holding, release tension, and reset your nervous system so the job doesn’t stack up over time. These five steps can be used on shift, at home, or immediately after an incident — giving you the tools to stay clear, grounded, and mission-ready.
With 15 years of experience as a firefighter EMT, I have dedicated my life to helping others in times of need. Alongside my work in emergency services, I founded Lift You Up, a holistic wellness coaching business where I help individuals achieve physical, mental, and emotional well-being. As a certified yoga and breathwork instructor, I guide others in finding balance and innergh movement and mindfulness practices.
After 10 years on the front lines as a firefighter, Chris knows firsthand the emotional toll first responders carry. Now, he's stepping into a new mission—one focused on healing, resilience, and helping others like him navigate the mental and emotional weight of the job.
When first responders learn how to process what they’re carrying, everything improves; communication, decision-making, morale, and home life.
